Elaine Flores is a graduate of New World School of the Arts (University of Florida) in Miami, Florida U.S.A.
After receiving a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre, she was accepted into the
American Theatre Wing - SpringBoardNYC actor's bootcamp in New York City where she workshopped with incredible directors, performers, and influences in the theater community such as: Seth Rudetsky, Kathleen Marshall, Christian Borle, Nina Arianda, Lin-Manuel Miranda, David Caparelliotis, Leslie Odom Jr., Amy Ryan, Thomas Schumacher, & Leigh Silverman.
In 2013, she began her travel journey with ArtSpot Educational Theatre, touring various musicals and conducting English workshops in over 20 countries for 5 years.
From June 2015-2016, Elaine Flores spent an entire year working at The Gyeonggi English Village in South Korea, where she spent her days writing, producing, and performing original English-teaching children's musicals. Each resident actor's responsibilities included: developing original scripts, writing musical compositions, costume designing, visual marketing/advertising, set designing, directing, choreographing, teaching and performing.
Currently, Elaine Flores is playing Maria/Tour Guide in 'Havana Music Hall' at Actor's Playhouse in Miami, Florida - directed by Maria Torres. www.HavanaMusicHall.com. She also works as a choreographer for True Mirage Theater and a costume designer at New World School of the Arts!
***Between projects, Elaine enjoys writing/producing music with her ukulele and her husband, costume designing, practicing Yoga, salsa dancing, editing videos and photos, writing witty poems, vintage shopping, flea markets, staying creative, traveling, cooking healthy alternatives but also trying ANY AND ALL forms of wine and chocolate...!***
